astroman, your doc gave you a 10 hour exam to diagnose you with neurolyme? I've never heard of such a thing. That's interesting.
I'm very jealous of people who got rid of neurolyme in 3 months. I've had it for 5 years, and it seems to just progress and worsen no matter what I do.
I've had the same symptoms as the original poster. Burning brain, brain numbness, feels like you're thinking through mud. Not fun.
Lately, in the morning its the worst, and then towards the afternoon it starts to clear up.
I want to find out if there's some sort of cat scan or mri or spect scan that can confirm there's something wrong with my brain.
I replied on your als post too.
"Lately, in the morning its the worst, and then towards the afternoon it starts to clear up."- thats the pattern many report.
Was not my llmd who did that brain test. This dr was a LL psychologist or psychiatrist recommended by my LLMD. I dont even know the diff of the two P's, but this guy new they symptoms of lyme brain. This is a rare but standardized 2 day in office test his colleagues in said field use nation wide. Very little talk about
it here - none this year.
Have you tried d-limonene yet?
And, again, messed up thyroid can starve the brain of hormone fuel it needs. I'd guess 1/4 to 1/2 the people here have a somewhat effected thyroid.
