Who’s got it - please let me know I’m not alone - and how do you deal with it? I try meditation, mindfulness, etc but man it’s the worst of my symptoms. I can’t live my life in fear all the time that I’m dying. I have a spouse, kids to raise, a nursing career I love. It’s nearly debilitating at times. Help! sad

I am still occasionally googling my symptoms - STILL - after being at this for over 3 years now.

Your last post - you mentioned being at 90% - are you still there?

How do I deal with it? I keep treating...and trying to get to full healing.

If you have plateaued - it's time to change it up. If you're taking the herbs 3 X day - have you thought about increasing that to 4 X daily?

Also, maybe talking to a Counsellor would help? That really helped me early on...

Antibiotics caused great anxiety for me, they can alter the gut bacteria which is directly related to mental anxiety. Have you considered medication for anxiety? It would only be until you get better with Lyme.

You are so not alone! My anxiety is ridiculous, I have all sorts of worries, thoughts, concerns, end up googling all sorts of things and drive myself nuts.

Ive started yoga, literally yesterday, and try to think calm positive thoughts, I try to talk to my husband about it but he just says you’re fine don’t worry... easier said than done.

It is so strange how stress would increase lyme symptoms but lyme symptoms caused me stress.

It was a merry-go-round. I just wanted it to stop.

Treatment is how mine stopped. It didn't stop in a month, it took monthS

Bikennurse YOU are not alone !!! I have been going through the worst anxiety driven depression in years . I finally went back on an SSRI and ( week 3 ) is the first time I was able to get in the elevators at the hospital. I'm a 60 yo PA-C . My anxiety was so bad I became OCD with my Lyme meds and supplements. I was freaking out about my brain, losing my job, then my house . I started using affirmations when my brain started running with negative thoughts. Challenging those thoughts is important too. Even listenened to Noah Elkreif on utube explain anxiety is just thoughts that come and how to teach yourself not to put any validity in them. Good luck and remember your NOT alone in this .

You're definitely not alone. Thats one of my worst symptoms. I was up late late last night because I'm having left sided chest pain again. The anxiety caused shortness of breath. I was sure I was dying. I've been to the hospital several times though and had several work ups and monitors for this symptom and apparently there is nothing wrong. Doesnt stop the worry train though..
