Hi everyone,

Has anybody ever heard of abdominal muscles feeling numb? I don't know if that's the right word. But my stomach is super bloated and when I try to flex my ab muscles, they feel fatigued/numb. I haven't worked out or anything. I'm wondering if this is a symptom of treating the Lyme?

Thanks in advance!

I think anything strange or different is lyme.

Some of the freakiest or weird symptoms that I had could only be lyme. I could not think of anything else they could be.

I have done a search through this forum and have found threads where people have said that they Lyme bacteria can paralyze the abdominal muscles making them immune to exercise? How long is something like this going to take to resolve!? It's kind of scary. Since treating, my stomach has been crazy bloated the past few days. Since I've been bloated, I've been noticing this numbness in my abs to where I can't flex them. It's kind of scary!

Would probiotics help with the bloating?

On page 2 of the New to Lyme thread is a post about Yeast/Fungal Growth, have you read that? I would start there and see if any of it pertains to you.
