Joint pain- especially in my thumbs, making gripping things hurt like a SOB!
Cold hands/feet
Stiff back/neck- to the point I thought I might be swelling in my brain stem and contracted meningitis
Headache/migraine literally daily
Burning sensations and skin hot to the touch
The heat you can feel radiating off my body. To the point it will put me in a daze because it will be followed by the chills. One extreme to the exact opposite extreme throws me for a loop.
Fatigue to the point that my better half has had trouble waking me up
Weakness that’s made me feel like I’m 90 years old, and I’m 34
Swelling in hands- more so in fingers
Swelling i my feet that has now moved up into my lower legs. Now, I normally have some swelling, but not like this
Numbness n vibrations in my hands
Dizziness/vertigo on occasion
Difficulty thinking/concentrating
Trouble finding words/ memory gaps - Brain farts more than usual
Little no-see-em things in my eyes causing me to constantly blink- like I have tiny salt granules in there that I cannot get out
Anxiety- idk maybe because I literally spun out because I thought I was dying- has happened twice now and it lasts for several days- possibly crazy?
Insomnia then I crash. Viscous cycling
Occasionally Nauseated
Extreme sensitivity to light!!!!
Chills
Fever 99 degrees
I get muscle spasms way more frequently and intense
Something odd with my ears- itchy, slight pain, really a pain in the ass
Night sweats
Sweating in general to the point it’s bullets dripping
Mood swings and anger/easily agitated
Patch of skin on the back of my leg now looks like tiger stripes
Random bruises are showing up
And last but by FAR, NOT the least a RASH, in fact, I think it all started with this darn thing! Rash had a pustule, I had to pop it, well you know how it is… don’t act like you don’t, it spread from my back up to my neck and then my face. I mean, this rash was itchy now, I scratched, it got worse. Ended up looking like seborrheic keratosis. I went to several doctors who said it was infectious. 1st blood test nothing showed up wrong with me. Told doctor second visit I needed tested for everything under the sun. Now, granted I do have a chronic case of CRS ( My friends and I just refer to it as burnt-out ), more than likely, a direct result of excessive use (professional’s term it abuse) of party favors, but I think I have recorded and listed all my symptoms over the past 3-4 months or so.

Western Blot Test:

Igg p58 band positive, was only one

Lyme test result overall - negative

So can anyone, please, tell me what the hell is going on with me? I’m having an extremely rough go of it and I don’t know what to do or how I should proceed.

Hi Sparky Darko.

CRS? My mind is drawing a blank (not that unusual though) - what does that stand for?

Well, you certainly have enough symptoms that could point to lyme disease.
What lab did you test with? Was it Labcorp?

You could do a retest with the Igenex lab - call them and they will send you a test kit.

You can do the Lyme WB Igm and IgG for total of $250.

They also have a couple of new lyme tests..a IGXSPOT and Lyme Immunoblot.

They look similar to another Lab - Armin Labs in Germany.
I don't know anyone who has had the new Igenex testing done yet.

You do need a dr. to sign the lab req from Igenex.

We encourage our new members to read through the information in the thread at the top of the page: "New to Lyme?...Start here".

Your other option is to go directly to a LLMD and have an evaluation...he can suggest more testing if required.
We can help you find a LLMD - start a new thread: "Looking for LLMD in/near____" and fill in the blank with your location.

Or, you can contact me - send me an email...and I'll see what options I have for LLMD's in your area.

So, does IGg band 58 positive have any significance?
Going off symptoms only, hypothetically speaking, let’s say it is Lyme. What happens when it’s not treated for a long period of time? I’m definitely hitting 4+ months and going “further down the spiral”. So, when do I find the white rabbit and just how far down does this rabbit hole go? The doctor gave me some blue pills too, and it’s been awhile since I watched the “Matrix”. Is it the blue pill or the red one that I’m supposed to take? I don’t want to be a copper top anymore!

If its Lyme and/or co infections don't even take a chance and go down the rabbit hole...it can be hell, and could take a long time to rebound from it all.

These infections do not fool around, they are smart and tough to eradicate if you have had it a while.

The longer you wait to treat the harder and longer it can take to get into remission.

You can get neuro Lyme which you may already have, besides having symptoms that point to Bartonella and Babesia also.

I believe Band 58 in an European strain of Borrelia.

Find an llmd(lyme literate MD) and treat the symptoms, build up your immune system, detox, get enough sleep, and eat paleo, gluten free or kitogenic.

I wish you the best of healing and yes please read our new to Lyme start here thread....really good information.

Take care, Jo

Welcome and I also say do not go down the rabbit hole and only take a pill that a lyme literate medical doctor gives you.

Before you take it ask him/her how many people he/she has helped into remission.

Some of Sparky Darko's comments are related to pop culture. CRS was defined above. The comments about the white rabbit/rabbit hole, blue pill/red pill, and copper top are references to the movie "The Matrix."

From Wikipedia: "It contains numerous references to philosophical and religious ideas, and prominently pays homage to works such as Plato's Allegory of the Cave, Jean Baudrillard's Simulacra and Simulation and Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."

As Jo mentioned - it is thought that band 58 is a European strain of LD - Borrelia Afzelii.

4 months isn't a really long time...but I wouldn't sit around and wait...I would get yourself to a LLMD.

Sparky Darko,

I didn't read all the replies word for word, but in case it wasn't mentioned already, your symptoms sound like much more than just Lyme. Sounds like babesia and bartonella too. Make sure you get treatment for all of it.

Hey, thanks for all the replies. I’ve been off for a couple days because of Christmas.Nevertheless, I’m seriously taking in everything you guys are saying! I like to joke around, but don’t take it as me not being serious, please!! I seriously feel like I’m dying. My skin is committing suicide on me. I went to the dermatologist today and it felt like I was at the zoo! However, this time I was in the cage! I’ve never heard so much diagnoses called out or seen anything like this in all my doctor visits over the past 34 years. Im telling ya! It was insane in the membrane!

Btw, the blue pills were called...

Doxycycline

Which have helped to some extent but I’m still struggling badly

If the Dr. wasn't lyme literate - you were most likely given too low a dose of doxy.

Are you taking the doxy now?

I suggest you seek out a LLMD and schedule an appointment.

In the meantime - you can develop a good detoxing regimen. You will want to start with a few methods and every few days add in a new one..until you are detoxing with multiple methods daily.

Make sure you are drinking lots of water every day.
Are you taking probiotics daily?
A liver support supplement should be taken daily, as well. Eg. Milk Thistle seed extract.

You can start those right away.

Here are some more ideas:

- add fresh squeezed lemon into some of your glasses of water.
- take warm epsom salt baths
- dry brush your skin prior to baths and showers
- Take Nutramedix Pinella and Burbur
- Take a binder - eg. Activated Charcoal (must be taken a couple of hours away from food, meds, supplements)

Here is a link to a website with detoxing ideas:

On doxy now. Have probiotics too but just got them today. Im being referred to the infectious disease clinic in G Vegas where my good friend from high school is the doctor that runs the entire show. I’m in great hands with him and already let him know to BOLO for me. My liver? I’m worried about my kidneys too, with this rash and sweating bullets before I can make it to the bathroom to take a leak!

I always think dental and parasite when there isn't an obvious answer.
Find the right doc and both are easy to test-find the wrong doc and their test aren't worth anything.

that's my two cents

Sparky - does the ID Clinc Dr.'s specialize in lyme disease? Is your good friend lyme literate?
