So from my test results it seems I have babesia, bartonella and ehrlichia...

How do I start treating these with herbs? Can I treat them all together? I have Buhners book so will look at his recommendations, I’m currently taking kJ cats claw and andrographis for lyme.

My symptoms af the moment ate mild join pain that comes and goes. No pain for last 2 days.

There are many schools of thought on how to treat when known co infections are there. Many do not put much reliance on the co infection testing because it is so able to be false.

Some will say you have to treat babs first, some bart, some ehril and some say start with lyme and you may end up getting rid of some of the others.

The symptoms overlap so much that it is super hard to tell what you honestly have.

I think you should stay with what you are currently doing. You have gotten rid of the pain and that is a good sign. Just slowly continue with your herbal plan and add in as you were. Give it lots of time to see how you do.

Try not to be anxious about these test results. I know, it is easy for me to type that and hard for you to do. But stress is not good.

I would stick with your plan for now. You haven't been on it very long.

Thank you PeteZa, I’m worried that the co infections will be causing havoc behind the scenes and then bam! Attack me... is that how it works?

I have just reintroduced the cats claw and I’m taking it slow with that, I will check with co infections these herbs cover for a bit of peace of mind.

Can the tests provide false positives as they can negatives?

I think it will be different for everyone. I can tell you how it was for me.

I had babs and bart symptoms -- I THINK.... I never did test because I thought the tests would unreliable. So I treated Lyme. At the end when almost all of my symptoms were gone, I did an herb for bart and one for babs.

Now I think others may have differing opinions. Remember we all are different and different things work for each of us.

As for the test being negative..... I think most ticks carry a bunch of stuff and transmit it to us when they bite us. I was told that when we get bite it is like a salad bar of stuff.

Many of the herbs you are taking for lyme are the same herbs that you use for the co infections. There are a couple like cryptolepis and houttuynia that aren't on the core lyme protocol.

So I added those in at the end just to make sure. But, like I said, most of my symptoms were gone with just the core lyme protocol.

I understand your fears and concerns. It's hard to know what to do, as there could be repercussions either way. I think Peteza may be right. Stick with the herbs you started with and slowly add others. Pay attention to how you feel. If you're not real sure about the symptoms of the various infections, look them up from multiple sources. I've seen widely varying symptom descriptions and some even contradict each other. Once you know what the symptoms are (or may be), you may realize you have or have had symptoms you didn't know were symptoms. That will give you a better idea of how to proceed. That's what happened to me. When I read bartonella and babesia symptom descriptions, especially the ones from Wayne Anderson, I realized I'd had many of them since childhood, decades before my life-altering symptoms started.

Try not to stress though. You learn as you go along.
