For a long while now, I've noticed that I frequently have belly bloating after supper. It doesn't happen after breakfast or lunch only supper. It's not like I eat Lyme-approved breakfast and lunch and bad food for supper. I can't figure out the reason. Up until tonight, I kind of assumed it was occurring after I took mag citrate at night, but tonight I noticed it before I took that.

Any ideas?

Could be the timing of your breakfast/ lunch pills. For example, my breakfast doxycycline doesn’t make me sick until about 3pm. So it could be delayed, or a combo of pills you take with the food. And sometimes it’s just random. I’ll have a week where I feel sick or hugely bloated a lot, then it goes away. Like everything else with Lyme, a roller coaster.

Mepron with Zithromax made me bloated but when I take them an hour apart, I’m fine. But other people have not had this problem.
Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella. Symptoms began 5/2016, didn't start treatment until 9/2016. Slow but steady recovery.

Something as simple as cruciferous vegetables can make you have belly bloating.

Like Babs said, it might now necessarily be something that you have for dinner. It could be earlier.

Are you eating any soy? Boy does that do it for me. Check your supplements for soy.

Hi all,
I know it's been a long while since I've posted here, but I was taking a peek at the forum (had a bit of time) and noticed this thread - which I have issues with as well.

What I've noticed is that it's the second dose of my anti-microbials that really does this to me, and a bit of probiotics helps correct it. Now, who knows if I have the same issues as you do, Walkingbyfaith, but maybe it will give you a hint at something?

Best of luck with this!
