I second the suggestion of ginger! I use it daily to keep nausea at bay, or to help settle my stomach. I actually keep a ginger 'syrup' that I make in the refrigerator all the time now. It's super easy to make and it works like a charm!
Just take a 3 ounce piece of ginger, cut into slices and put in a pan. Add 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover and allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Cool and strain. Add one cup of raw honey (also really good for us unless you are battling a serious case of Candida) and mix well - may need to reheat the ginger water at this point.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator and enjoy!!
I usually only need one large swig for my worst nausea issues, which equates to two small swallows for me.
Pepto actually helps treat GI spirochetes (see Buhner: buhnerhealinglyme.com/herbs/bells-palsy-of-the-gut/
), so do be careful with it if you choose to use it. I had a GI herx from it.
