Hi all - I recall that in one of Buhner's books (either Bart or 2nd Edition Lyme) he mentioned the importance of eating whey and gave some examples of companies that sold excellent whey. As my books are virtually impossible to get to (long story) would someone mind looking that up?

Thanks!

I loaned my bart and babs books out and have not gotten then back. Hopefully someone will be up soon and help you out.

My husband uses Naked Whey.

The latest craze is pea protein powder. I, nor my husband, have not tried it.

Whey protein by itself is GF but it does have dairy bi-products in it.

So its mostly out for the milk intolerant, unless they dont mind feeling like a bloated racoon in the ditch LOL.

For those who are not avoiding milk, whey powders usually taste pretty good.

There are several varieties of GF, dairy free and even soy free protein mixes out there, most have pea protein in them. Some taste terrible, some are decent. They agree with my gut, its a huge difference. Night and day.

Now I know why the previous protein powder's I tried since the 80's had such adverse effects, as I was far from alone too.

Mike - I have the Bart book but not the Lyme.

I don't recall reading about whey - but it was 2 years ago when I read it...

If I knew where in the book it was...I could look it up for you, but I really don't have the time today to read the entire book again.... tongue

Hopefully someone will have the answer for you.
