that you will get better.

New years resolutions are generally not so complicated surface material, not a whole lot at stake. Not really that difficult. Not compared to chronic illness lacking a concrete direction.

I once read post that said maybe lymies were sick because they can do it. I personally know people that probably couldn't do this, sounds kinda shallow, but its not far off.

Whenever I read some of the newbies posts who are lost in this shuffle, with their world pretty much falling apart it brings back memories. Memories of wondering what to do when the regular health professionals dropped you like a hot potato, or said it was in your head.

One sat morning in spring of 2008, I awoke with my eyes open, to a world of 80-90% darkness. At that point, I wasn't sure how much time I had left on this planet. In my eyes, the sun that morning resembled a full moon.

This seemed like the tipping point, after years of worsening body buzzing, night sweats, insomnia, lethargicness, GERD, MS rigidity, wacky thyroid and adrenals, pre-diabetes..... usual lyme stuff.

All I had to keep me going was nature and music. Sometimes, people do not, or will not understand. It was hard to venture into nature even with a cozy, rocky brook 500ft from my front door, so it came down to music, which never let me down. And my ears still worked besides the tinnitus and ear beat sounds.

I just heard a mellow, previously unreleased song by RadioHead first time yesterday on our local "underground" station which plays whatever they feel like, which was part of the inspiration behind this post.

click on it, its different, kind of has a melancholy holiday style in its weird way, you might find it fitting.

Newbies -you will get better, dont give up. (but since your here, we know you wont)
Had initial lyme symptoms late 80's, then again w/with bullseye early 90's. Ended ABX for Lyme in 2015. Rebuilding / repairing / fine tuning since then; member "10 Percenters Lyme Club". What an adventure this has been. Hashimotos adds to the enjoyment.

Great post, Astroman. Wow, you have come a long way since 2008...how scary that must have been!

Music has been therapeutic for me through this hellish journey.

Good song!

I promise.
