Hi all so this is what I’m taking at the moment

Not at full dose yet going slowly with it:
Cats claw
Japanese knotweed
Have ordered Eleuthero (spelt right?)
Have ordered Chinese skullcap
Have ordered Sida Acuta
Have ordered pasqueflower flower (for anxiety)

I have been diagnosed with lyme babs bart and ehrlichia.

I want to start a herb for bartonella, which is the best one? Just realised it’s not in my healing lyme book. Do any of the above also cover bart/ babs?

Sida acuta is in both the bartonella and babesia protocols.

Be careful with the herbs and start low and slow until you see how you respond to each of them. Sida acuta can be especially strong.

WalkingbyFaith gave you some good information! Here is a bit more to help you:

From buhnerhealinglyme.com:

This is the basic protocol – please refer to Stephen’s book Healing Lyme Disease Coinfections: Complementary and Holistic Treatments for Bartonella and Mycoplasma for the most up-to-date expanded bartonella protocol.:

Sida acuta tincture (from Woodland Essence or julie@gaianstudies.org) ¼ tsp 3x day for 30 days

Hawthorn tincture, same

Japanese knotweed, (tincture, same dose (from same sources as Sida acuta, above), or capsules from Green Dragon Botanicals 2 capsules 3x daily)

EGCG 400mg +- daily

Houttuynia (Yu Xing Cao – 1st Chinese Herbs, powder – use “LYME” code at checkout for 10% off) 1 tbl daily

L-arginine 5000 mg daily in divided doses

Milk Thistle seed, standardized, 1200 mg daily

All for 30 days. (although Buhner says for 30 days, you need to take this for a minimum of 30 days, most often it's for a lot longer though - he clarifies this in his book).

PLEASE NOTE: If you have active herpes, chicken pox, or shingles DO NOT USE L-arginine.
Herb only treatment for Lyme & Bart ended 12/11 - no active symptoms for 2 yrs -Herb only treatment for Babesia ended 12/12
Had Lyme, Bart, Babs, RMSF, Ehrlichia, Myco, Anaplasmosis, EBV
New set of infections 8/2014 - still treating.

Szabo you should try and add Salvia miltiorrhiza (Red Sage or pinyin: dānshēn) for the cytokine remodulation.

If I were you I would add in gelatin for collagen protection.

And, maybe try adding in Cordyceps.

Again, just one at a time and slowly upping them.

Great advice so far.

Please note, give daily herbs at full dose several weeks to see noticeable improvements. Don't give up on them 1, 2, even 3 months in.
Lyme (Igenex) - Positive IFA and WB bands 23, 31, 41
Ehrlichia (Igenex)
Mycoplasma (Labcorp) - Score: 595

ABX Treatment: 03/2016-04/2016; 7/2017-9/2017
Buhner Protocol for Lyme and Mycoplasma: May 2016 - Dec. 2016; 8/2017 - Present

It is helpful. Just don't be too anxious. It takes a long time but you are doing great! Don't give up and don't expect to see quick results. It can take 6 months or more to see changes. In my opinion.

I'd recommend using those herbs you mentioned with herbs John Hopkins recently exposed as persister cell killers, two big ones were oregano oil and artemisinin (Artemisia).

As well as using herbs and supplements that treat biofilms, such as stevia, xylitol, turmeric. Maybe try some enzymes to like nattokinase, serrapeptase, EDTA, or lumbrokinase.

You don't treat biofilms and persister cells, the infection will keep coming back just like persister cell bacterial infections like Leprosy, Tuberculosis, and MRSA.

I didn't have much luck just using herbs, using herbs and antibiotics worked well for me, good luck with treatment.
