Hawthorn flower leaf or berry tincture?

It needs to say this on the label -- Crataegus oxyacantha. That is the type of Hawthorn Buhner recommends. I do believe the fruits, flowers, and leaves are processed into tinctures.

Peteza,

I'm taking Natures Way standardized capsules. It has leaf/flower extract standardized to 1.8% flavanoids 300 mg and berry 165 mg. Is this okay?

I prefer to purchase from Buhner's recommended sources.

I buy Woodland Essence Hawthorn...but didn't reorder it in time, so I went to the local health food store and bought a bottle - a local company.

I knew right away it wasn't the same. It didn't have the same taste...not even close.
The Hawthorn has a kind of fruity/flowery taste to it.

I believe both WE and Sage Apothecary (two of Buhner's recommended sources) use whole herb (not extracts)

I know Nature's Way has been around for awhile...but I don't know the quality.
