None of the usual herbals or suppliments are helping with my pain, in ribs from coughing, body aches, stabbing in my ears, clogged sinuses and elevated temp over last 3 days. What is the best over the counter pain reliever? I am in pain hell. Pain is something I don't frequently have with Lyme and co's. I'm sure it flu related.

I do Advil.

All you can do is try and see if it works and if not, try something else.

For the nighttime - Nyquil. I had to get some sleep and that knocked me out.

I took extra strength Excedrin around the clock. Took the fever and body aches down. I don't like taking any pain meds and I don't like reducing a fever but you are right the flu was just to much.
10 pay ozone on day four really helped

Hi if it is the flu you will most likely need more than over the counter meds. You would need somethig like Tamiflu.

Natural remedies for a cold are: Elderberry, Andrographis, Rhodiola, Isatis and large doses of Vitamin C.

You can take up to 3000 mg Vit C but if it causes diarrhea just lower dose.

You can also add Astragalus but not for those with late stage Lyme they say. Although I have started taking it daily and I am good so far with it(20 drops 3X day).

Kudzu root helps with pain.

Hope you feel better soon, Take care, Jo
