I found a tick in my leg at the age of six in 1966. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2015 at the age of fifty five after being very illl approximately five years. I have had abx treatment and tried a herbal protocol. Presently I am not treating for my Lyme disease. I just don't know where to turn. I almost never have a "good day". Some days I have a few decent hours in a day, maybe three or four good hours. I live in Sonora area in California. Does anyone know of a good llmd in my area? Please help! Thank you!

Welcome Sierras,

I went to an LLMD in Sacramento. Email me and I can give you his name. There is also a woman in Fair Oaks that someone said was an ILADS member. There are many in and around the Bay Area.

To email me you click on the blue envelope under my name.

Thank you all for the quick responses! I was diagnosed by a llmd in San Francisco. He was a good doctor I think, but I had to discontinue the abx treatment because my liver enzymes became extremely elevated. I have also tried the restore program that I found online. I am interested in finding another holistic approach and actually just ordered one of the books on healing Lyme that many people have mentioned on this site! I am happy I finally registered with this site, it will be nice to have support and hopefully be able to share what I have found on my 50 year journey!

Hi there,

I see a Dr. K spinoff clinic in Marin County and have been doing extremely well. If you email me, I will be happy to send you the contact info. It's not terribly far, and I'm sure you can find closer clinics to do some of the likely treatments you'd be on.

Hi sierras - welcome to our community.

I had liver enzymes go up for a few months...and I discontinued my antibiotic treatment for 2 1/2 months...and then went back on. They've never risen since.
My LLND figures it was the infection causing it...not necessarily the antibiotics.

If you email me, I can send you some options for the area you're searching.

It sounds like Jasperilla has a good LLMD - you might want to look into hers'.
