Is 1/4 tsp 3 tines a day considered full dose? Or should I be working up to 1tsp?

For each tincture Buhner gives his recommended daily dosages.

If he says 1/4 tsp 3X a day that would mean his recommended dose. So 3/4 tsp for the full day.

However he also has stated that each individual is different and may not need to reach or take the full recommended dosages.

When using herbals I have found I have to tailor it to my own individual reactions and symptoms.

Also a Buhner herbalist suggested to take the tincture 4 times a day, but I remember that member was not making any progress at a plateau and he called them and that is what they told him to do for his situation.

The important thing is you want continuous coverage, so taking them at least 3 times a day at is important for that.

Hope this helps a bit.

^^^ What Goshawk said.

To elaborate a bit more on the 'each individual is different and may not need to reach or take the full recommended dosages":
Some are more sensitive to the herb and may not tolerate the larger doses, whereas some need those larger doses. It's always best to start out on lower doses, and build up to the largest dose you can handle comfortably if you are detoxing well.
