Hi All,

It's been a while since I posted but still dealing with stuff!

I am wondering if anyone has stomach muscle pain as part of your symptoms? It is in the same spot on both sides. Kind of wraps from the sides around to the front. It literally feels like I did a set of stomach crunches. Sometimes it's a little more achy in the sides...the feeling you get when running and your side hurts. What I find strange is the feeling is the same on both sides.

Any thoughts / comments would be appreciated.

I get this but only after I’ve done physical activity. By which I mean ANY physical activity. I rocked a baby in my lap for 5 minutes and my abs burned like I’d been doing crunches for an hour. And they were sore for 3 days.
You don’t realize how much muscle you use in everyday activities until they get weak and using them at all is a workout. So maybe you’ve done just a little more work before this happens?

Obviously it’s worse while herxing- all my muscles get weak when I’m on tough treatment.
Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella. Symptoms began 5/2016, didn't start treatment until 9/2016. Slow but steady recovery.

Are you sure its muscle?

If YES :

This ball shown is too big to penetrate though. Good to start..... then go with a 4" ball from the kids beach toy isle from target or walmart.

I can tell the instructor has never had this issue, as she is doing it partially wrong (size)and just going by what she saw/read ect.

It will also take much longer for the ball to sink in- like 5-10 min a side. Start be hip bone point and move in after each locastion "melts". Your guts/organs will move away from ball on the sides, center (gut) will just get softer as you sink into ball. The sinking is the muscle relaxing. This is myofacial release- DONT GO as fast as she is.

I have had a similar symptom for over two years and asked about it on many forums. It is my lower abdominal muscles and sometimes wraps around my sides. It can last for weeks or just days and then stops and will start up again out of the blue.

It started while having lyme and babesia symptoms. I took artemisia for 9 months before I realized how much worse it got right after a pulse of artemisia. I quit taking that and the pain has been less frequent. I had to sit with a heating pad on my abdomen for hours the muscles were so tight and sore.

Not sure what causes it but for me I suspect lyme or babesia. Artemisia always gave me both lyme and babesia herxes.
