Does anyone else have this?

When I'm in bed, my head, and my whole body trembles to the rhythm of the heart. It's not tachycardia ... But the beats are so strong that I tremble ...

Carol - My body doesn't pulse with my heart...but my head does - I have pulsatile tinnitus.

Actually - pretty close to saying 'had' as it's gone most days now...and on occasion just faintly there in one ear.

I never knew what it was.

I hear a swooshing sound in my ear that is with the beat of my heart.

Yeah I have this sometimes as well. It’s actually improved a lot with treatment & diet ( yeah !!!!! smile )

I used to have it a lot , and it was very noticeable when laying in bed. Eaither that or I usually would be laying down when I had it , as those were times I was feeling VERY bad & spending most of my time in bed.

It often came with other symptoms for me. Like headaches, pressure, passing out ( or feeling like it) , dizziness, tinnitus, nausea, hot or cold sensations and those symptoms would cause me to lay down - and then the whole body beating would become really obvious!

I have had that throughout my whole body too, especially in my legs and especially when resting. Experiencing it mildly right now. I think I feel this when my neurological system inflammation is high. Someone here suggested that it might be a dysautonomia symptom. If I understood correctly, that would indicate that our hearts are fine but the nervous system is perceiving things more strongly.

Very common in the lyme community, dont worry. Its usually (not surprising) more on the left side.

Mine was like a bod base drum. Ear plugs made it worse, I then slept with a med-loud fan to drown the heart beat sound, still felt it though.
Had initial lyme symptoms late 80's, then again w/with bullseye early 90's. Ended ABX for Lyme in 2015. Rebuilding / repairing / fine tuning since then; member "10 Percenters Lyme Club". What an adventure this has been. Hashimotos adds to the enjoyment.

Yes, it was much more severe and frequent before treating for Babesia. I could feel my heart pounding through my whole body and it kept me awake at night.

It only does it during flares/herxes and it’s much more mild as treatment continues.

Still scared me so much, I still can’t lay on my husband’s chest and listen to his heart beat- the sound terrifies me now :-|
Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella. Symptoms began 5/2016, didn't start treatment until 9/2016. Slow but steady recovery.
