This supplement has not been mentioned much here. I prob should have tried this in the past.

/nootriment.com/phosphatidylserine-side-effects/

[".......With its role as a key component of cellular health, Phosphatidylserine side effects are far outweighed by its benefits. This phospholipid, which occurs naturally in our bodies, is responsible for regulating various facets of metabolism with our cells.

Phosphatidylserine also contains choline, a pre-cursor to acetylcholine, the neurochemical most closely tied to memory, mental focus, and brain plasticity. Phosphatidylserine has also been shown to reduce the body’s stress response by cutting cortisol levels.

In addition to alleviating the physical reactions to stress, Phosphatidylserine also provides the chemical basis for great mental health. It naturally contains choline, a super-nutrient that is inherent in the synthesis of phospholipids.

Renowned for its cognitive enhancing benefits, choline, and its product acetylcholine, foster the growth of healthy brain structures. An adequate amount of choline improves the transmission of information between cells, and promotes the growth of synaptic connections between neurons.

These functions generate improved memory, heightened mental clarity, and enhanced ability to form verbal and logical reasoning in users. For that reason, Phosphatidylserine has been successfully prescribed for patients suffering from a broad range of serious neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer’s Disease.

People with healthy brain tissue find that taking cholinergic supplements promotes feelings of great mental acuity, excellent recall of facts, and fast response times to stimulus.

There have been no significant Phosphatidylserine side effects reported relating to cognition whatsoever. It is considered non-toxic and very safe for consumption, easily tolerated by most people........."]

thought i'd bump this up to see if anyone has used this/comments
Had initial lyme symptoms late 80's, then again but also with bullseye early 90's. Ended ABX for Lyme in 2015. Rebuilding / repairing / fine tuning since then; member "10 Percenters Lyme Club". What an adventure this has been. Hashimotos adds to the enjoyment.

The "Azheimer's dose" which is something like twice what is typically recommended on the bottle, is pretty pricey, that's why I personally stopped taking it as I found that dose was needed for any real improvement, *but* that being said, it's one of the only supps I find to improve brain function, so I'd definitely recommend it and probably should go back on it myself (plus one's brain is sorta worth the price).

There are several versions of this stuff, and its all pretty pricy.

So far the most affordable smart stimulant I found is these three together: caffeine, tuarine, L-theonine.

The caffeine and tuarine cancel out each others bad effects that you feel.I just dont like using caffeine since its hard on the adrenals.

I'm going to experiment with choline, alone its cheap.

We tried Jarrow Formulas Ps-100. I think I bought this brand b/c of the non-gmo sunflower.
