Hi all

Recently sent some results to Armin Labs in Germany. This lab has some controversy about Lyme testing but wanted some thoughts from the community.

I have some health issues for the past couple years that are unexplained. Of course Lyme is a possibility but it is not confirmed.

I do know for sure that I have bad sinus inflammation and an infected root canal from a 3D cone beam scan. The root canal and my metal amalgams will be removed in 2 weeks.

Thanks all

Well it's a 'weak' positive - but still a positive.

I'd certainly see that as significant - when backing up a clinical diagnosis.

I really dislike "you kinda have lyme" diagnosis. What the heck is that????

I liken it to "you are a little pregnant" as an example.

Sorry Mr.Dude, in my world, you have lyme. You can't almost have lyme. You had something show positive for the lab techs.

I get it but Armin Labs tests are quite sensitive and can show false-positives so I have to be mindful of that.

I have already done a round of antibiotic treatment which in my opinion made things worse for me.

I appreciate both your input and certainly welcome more. I will be discussing this with my doctor next week anyhow.

Where did you read/hear that Armin Lab tests can show false-positives?
Sensitivity doesn't mean false results.

Not unusual for a short time on antibiotics to make you feel worse.

If antibiotics made your symptoms more intense, that is generally a "sign" for the LLMD that you do, in fact, have lyme.

Make sure you mention this to your doctor.
