My only advice is to not focus/limit yourself to testing candida. There are other strains.
I've had candida tests come back negative, but yet I still had a systemic chronic yeast infection that was causing health issues. Well, wouldn't you know it... my yeast is a non-candida strain (saccharomyces cerevisiae). I've posted about
that frequently on this board.
So, my advice to all is.... don't forget that if the candida albicans test is negative, there are other strains of candida and non-candida pathogenic strains. Unfortunately, vast majority of doctors/test/internet information focuses only on candida albicans.
Kid#1: Extremely sick for several years, very difficult to treat, but doing great now!
Kid#2: Still sick now despite being treated for years but doing better (not well yet).
Kid#3: Generally good but relapsing off/on.
Me: Adv Labs positive 2016 (suspected I passed to my kids)-not as sick as others, mostly battling fatigue and yeast issues (heart/kidney issues resolved)
Treating with herbals now.
