Without taking medication to lower it? Will it help kill some
Of these buggers? Or will it make no difference at all and should I just take some medicine?

It’s a low grade fever, 38 degrees Celsius.

For us, we treat based on symptoms - not by temperature!

We generally let the fever do it's job. We are not a fan of medicating to lower a fever at all, and we don't ever do that (eg just to lower a fever - we let the fever/body work!). Please note that I am not talking about dangerous fever levels!

However, if the fever is causing miserable symptoms, then we treat to make the symptoms less severe and more tolerable. We feel sleep is extremely helpful in healing, so we will treat if a fever is too interruptive to sleep.

So, if we have a fever of 103 and are acting fine, we don't treat the fever.
If we have a fever of 103 and are truly miserable, then we treat.
If we have a fever of 101 and are truly miserable, then we treat.

Hope that makes sense. That is just what we do...
Kid#1: Extremely sick for several years, very difficult to treat, but doing great now!
Kid#2: Still sick now despite being treated for years but doing better (not well yet).
Kid#3: Generally good but relapsing off/on.
Me: Adv Labs positive 2016 (suspected I passed to my kids)-not as sick as others, mostly battling fatigue and yeast issues (heart/kidney issues resolved)
Treating with herbals now.

I agree with Daisies completely.

Each case is individual with a fever.
