I’ve tried it twice now and have felt rubbish both times afterwords, in fact I fell ill both times with a cold and once with the flu. It could just be coincidence, does anyone have any experience with this? I heard it was good for lymph detoxing, and circulation but scared to try it again.

I got a rebounder for Christmas. I haven't used it a ton, but it doesn't make me feel badly.

How long are you doing it, and how frequently? How high are you jumping?

I do it 5 minutes at a time, and my feet don't leave the rebounder. If I try and really jump, I get too dizzy and am worried I'll fall off.

I heard they were great for moving lymph fluid so I bought one. I bounced on it three or four times and couldn’t walk for a couple of days because my back hurt so badly. I have a degenerated disc, so for anyone else who has back problems, just be careful.

Anyone want to buy a brand new rebounder? 😊

I have a rebounder and a destroyed back. The quality of rebounder makes a huge difference. I started with a cheap $20 Wal-Mart one and it made the base of my skull, knees, back, as well as everything else in my body hurt. Then I was reading on rebounding sites how the more expensive ones are worth their price. They were so absolutely right. They also said to start very slow. Only spend a minute or two each day doing a very low health bounce, almost to where you don't leave the mat and work your way up. (The health bounce is where you come down on you heels first, then toes.) Here is a video to give you an idea /youtu.be/mMpg7LXcZus. I also have the spring loaded kind, not the bungy.

You're moving lymph, so it would make sense if you do too much, too soon, you may feel terrible.

Thank you all, I think I have my answer, I did a ten minute video from you tube! Could explain why I felt bad! I’ve read so many great things about rebounding, I will definitely try it again and maybe just do one minute and gradually build it up smile
