Is this what you were referring to?
"SPARGA Sulphur Detox"
" an asparagus herbal tincture that detoxifies the body from sulfa antibiotics and other sulfa drugs which can block the detoxification pathways."

Wait, wait,wait.

I have a sulfa allergy. Whole body rash from Bactrim. Not life threatening, but I was told to never take a sulfa again.

Just fell down the rabbit hole of cbs gene mutation and homocystinuria. I think my blood work checked my homocystine, but I'll need to check.

I have german and irish ancestry. So....

I wonder... maybe a form of this mutation is behind pyluria/kpu. In the past (way before lyme) I've considered pyluria, and supplemented b6. But I wasn't sure about the whole thing. But now I'm wondering if lyme took my bad genes and cranked them to 11.

My bactrim experience was 5 years ago or so. Is it something that still needs to be detoxed? Is that the idea with this stuff?

Gotta admit I'm a bit suspicious of nutramedix selling a product I didn't know I needed though.

Checked my blood tests paperwork - and don't see homocysteine anywhere. There's so many abbreviations, have to look up what most of them are every time.

Don't know if the rheumy I saw last week ordered it. But it wasn't a fasting test, he sent me straight from his office to the hospital lab. Is it supposed to be a fasting test?

And I checked my supplements, and realized I'm currently taking between 7 and 11mg of b6 daily (yes milligrams, not micrograms). Would that be enough to "treat" high homocysteine and should I stop it for a while in order to get an accurate blood test (for diagnosis purposes)?

Or do gene testing. I'm mulling that over. The price has dropped a lot, so maybe. I'd have to look into what the best one would be, though. Or try to convince my GP that my insurance should pay for one. Hmm.
