I have some pelvic symptoms that come and go. Includes burning sensations in the skin and tissues and a feeling of pressure down there against my pelvic bones. Has anyone else ever had anything like this? Can bartonella cause this?

I have no STDs.

Yes, I have had it since January of last year. The burning comes and goes and I have noticed that when I eat anything that has corn in it the burning becomes much worse. Logic would indicate that I just abstain from corn but my diet is very strict already and tortilla chips seem to be my Achilles. I am being treated for Bart, Lyme and Babesia...but I suspect Bart. I also get the pressure...at its worst if feels like a 10lbs weight resting on my bladder.

Yes I had that early one and was tested for UTI but it was negative. So Yes bart can cause that symptom . It did go away with continued treatment.

Thank you, Jo. That's what I've been thinking.

Curious if any men have had pressure against the pelvic bone or burning in the pelvic tissues, or is this confined to women?

Aren't Lyme, bartonella, babesia & other coinfections sexually transmittable technically speaking?
