Has anyone else had a problem with drinking water. It’s even hard for me to drink 64 oz in a day. I’m 170 lb 6’1” Male. I get light headed, weak, head pressure (feels like head is underwater) and heart racing. Possibly a electrolyte imbalance? I feel like I get plenty of variety through my diet. Maybe could be magnesium deficiency. I know I need water r else I get dehydrated. Really confused as to what’s going on. Has been happening for a while.

Hi, Have you tried adding lemon juice to the water it will help you with detoxing.

I have a friend who doesn't like drinking water and she has added sliced of fresh pineapple and thin sliced cucumbers and she tolerates it better.

The symptoms you mentioned could be from Lyme and/or co infections.

I had head pressure and I believe it was a symptom of Babesia.

Add a little sea salt or pink Himalayan salt to your lemon water. The salt has trace minerals.

I have not tried that. I will try it right away. Thank you. I do have Candida and could possibly be feeling die off from that?

I add plenty of celtic sea salt to food, which they claim has the most amount of minerals. Haven't tried adding it to the water though. Maybe this will help. I'll give it a shot. Thank you.

We dont need 64 oz in a day unless your in a heal hot area. They have challenged that recently. Thats a lot for many people.

If your bloated, its prob candida as it does that to you and you feel full all the time.
Had initial lyme symptoms late 80's, then again and with bullseye early 90's. Ended ABX for Lyme in 2015. Rebuilding / fine tuning / fixing muscles since then; member "10 Percenters Lyme Club". What an adventure this has been. Hashimotos adds to the enjoyment.

Thanks Astroman. The only reason I am trying to drink 64 oz is that I'm currently on a parasite cleanse that suggests drinking half of body weight in oz daily which would be 85 since I weigh 170. That target was way too much to me so I lowered it to 64 (old thinking rule of thumb).

Try doing a lymph massage on your head and neck - there's a video on YouTube - it helps immensely with the head pressure. If that doesn't work, try doing sole water every morning (tsp of Himalayan salt first thing in the morning in a glass of water - let it sit overnight). Water is so important. Sole helps so much, especially with blood pressure, head pressure, heart pounding.

I have this. If i drink too much straight water my thinking will slow down, energy levels drop and dissociation increases. It's either an adrenal thing (low aldesterone comes with adrenal fatigue) or it's low ADH, something many of us with lyme have.
You can add small amounts of a mineral salt to your water and see if that helps. I use an electrolyte drink tho, i want to keep my sodium/potassium levels constant. "Elyte" by Body Bio is what i use.

Thanks for your helpful input. Right now I have been using lemon with celtic sea salt. Seems to be working for me. The lymph massage definitely helped.

Lemon and celtic sea salt has helped. I will look into Elyte. Comforted to know I wasn't the only one experiencing this. Thank you.
