curious is anyone has had this...after dinner sunday it lasted 24 hrs, making it hard to sleep...felt like someone was pushing their knuckles into my back...its below the left shoulder blade, slightly toward the center...

thinking its either ulcer, pancreas, or lyme/co's being lyme/co's...i have had gastritis so thinking maybe ulcer

went to gi doctor, wasnt sure, doing an mri...said i should see a cardiologist too

hoping someone else has had this, and then it went away, so dont have to deal with scary pancreas/heart stuff

thanks

I'm thinking the same as WalkingbyFaith.

My SIL had pain in her upper back - left side and also had digestive issues.
As it progressed she started to throw up.

Dr. told her it was menopause. Yes, I said menopause. rolleyes

about 2 years later she went into Emergency because of excruciating pain...and they took out her gallbladder right away. It was swollen/inflamed...and she had a huge stone that was causing an obstruction.

thanks for the posts- i had my gallbladder out 3 yrs back, right before my lyme diagnosis...the discomfort is similar, though for me the gallbladder was a right side pain...

okay, then....not gallbladder.

The left shoulder blade area (just below it) is where my symptoms first started...but mine was a tingling in the muscle in that area...and then one night it turned into a full on shooting pain up my neck and down my left arm..my left arm was limp and numb.

I hope yours' clears up soon...so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
