Hi,

I have been feeling extremely fatigued,
joint and muscle pain, memory fog for
a very long time. I suspect I might
have Lyme Disease. I am very prone
to catching viral or bacterial infections
when I got near people who are sick
or go to visit someone in a hospital.

A doctor I went to sent me Quest Diagnostic
to one of their labs in Suffern, New York
for testing.

The Lyme Disease Test Only 41 KD (IGG) BAND tested Positive.

I would like to add in the early 1990s when my
younger brother had a severe case of Lyme Disease.
He was one of the first cases diagnosed in our
area back when Lyme was first discovered.
I have suffered from fatigue and other issues
since around the same time. But, I am thinking
now I fell through the cracks. Perhaps, because
my case was not as severe as my brother did
at the time. He was so bad one of his knees was
locked in place.

Also, I have suffered from environmental allergies
to Pollen, Dust, Trees, Grass, Mold, etc.. , Food
Allergies and Chronic Sinusitis and Sinus Infections.
Perhaps this is threw off doctors not thinking I
might have Lyme Disease.

Hi Health2015 - welcome to our community.

I'm sorry you have been dealing with those symptoms.

Regardless of your test results, lyme should always be a clinical diagnosis, and testing used to back up that diagnosis.

I think it is wise for you to see a LLMD for an evaluation.

In addition to members recommendations (which is best) - you can also email me...and I will give you some options for NY. Please state in your email which area of NY State you are requesting.

We do encourage all new members to read through the information contained in the thread: "New to Lyme?..Start Here!" It's packed full of useful information.

Keep asking questions, reading posts...etc. This is a great group here...lots of knowledge and support.
