Hello all

I had started houttunyia on 1/15/18 and stopped on 2/21. During that time I was taking 1mg Lunesta and my sleep was alternating between ok sleep and poor sleep.

I have been off houttunyia for 12 days and my sleep has been only from around 10:30pm to 2-4 AM (usually 4am), usually awakening with some night sweats and unable to sleep the rest of the day. This is with taking 2mg lunesta, having tried Belsamra and stopped it due to not working. On Sunday I went to the ER because of the ongoing lack of sleep and they gave me 10 5mg valiums. The first night I took 2 mg lunesta and 1 valium at bedtime (also melatonin as usual) and have still only slept 10:30-4:00am waking with some sweats.

I had been having streak like rashes and eye floaters and though they have lessened since I stopped houttunyia, I've still noticed some occasional rash and some eye floaters.

I am in bad shape because I need to know what to do to regain being functional and possibly return to work. I will struggle to apply for long term disability because I have to have a specialist fill out paperwork and I only have an LLND. I was thinking of seeing if someone (psychiatrist?) could fill it out for insomnia.

I have a psychiatrist appointment coming up and I only have so many valiums left and at this point I am beyond desperate. I will call my lyme doc today but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice. I am wondering if I pissed off the infections (e.g. Bart, possibly Brucella) and what would anyone do in my situation. I don't know if stopping the houttunyia altogether made it worse.

Thank you for any help you can offer

Boy that sound all too familiar. I went for years with waking up between 3 and 4 am all the time with occasional light night sweats (damp hairline) no matter what time I went to bed. It did resolve over time. I stayed away from Rx sleep aids and only took Gabapentin in the evening and 10 mg Melatonin. I've been off both now for about two years.

I bet its Bart related

Thanks tick, I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to work or not, wondering if getting back on houttunyia low dose or anything can bring me more back to baseline....

How does one even get gabapentin or anything
