I don't get that from standing up when I wake up ...but I do wake up in the morning and sometimes I'm sweating a bit with anxiety...(while I'm laying in bed) ...and then the 'doom and gloom'. Not sure why that happens...I hate it...

Occasionally I experience a similar sensation if I get up from lying down, or stand up from sitting, or bend down then straighten back up.

For me, it's short lived and seems to wear off after a few breathes. I often experience a hot flash, lightheadedness, heart palpitations and flushing at the same time, so for me it seems to be due to blood pressure fluxuations.

Do your symptoms persist past a couple of breathes?
