I have had a very low CD57 (28) for years and I have Babesia duncani and microti, lyme and bartonella. Not sure if there is a link if you only had babesia.

usually with these infections, the cd57 will be low.

But, many LLMD's are finding the cd57 isn't a reliable indicator.

I wouldn't put much stock into it, Carol.

BTW - how are you feeling?

My CD57 has been testing high but coming down (I'm not as sick as my kids or others).
This is very opposite of my children who test very low for CD57 (and are much sicker than I ever have been).

I'm positive for lyme (but not many symptoms). I have chronic systemic yeast. And I'd be shocked if I didn't have bartonella/babesia (but that's a guessing game).
Kid#1: Extremely sick for several years, very difficult to treat, but doing great now!
Kid#2: Still sick now despite being treated for years but doing better (not well yet).
Kid#3: Generally good but relapsing off/on.
Me: Adv Labs positive 2016 (suspected I passed to my kids)-not as sick as others, mostly battling fatigue and yeast issues (heart/kidney issues resolved)
Treating with herbals now.

I have a very low cd 57 it's 30. It definitely indicates a problem but what problem is the question. Is it Lyme, is it yeast or something else?
