I think you should seriously consider a simple basic whole food type diet. At this point, eating is for survival till you get better. That why the elimination diet exists.

White meat is easier digested. Many with gut issues need digestive enzymes for beef or pork, better to just not eat it for a while.

Been there.

One other thought, Lone Star tick illness is never discussed on this forum. Thats odd since I know someone with it- they can not eat any read meat. I forget the name. Stari?

Alpha-gal allergy is spread by the Lone Star tick. Lectin, oxalate, and goitrogens are other possible causes of food related fatigue.

I do once in awhile...not lately because I've gone gluten free and haven't found a good enough gluten free bun yet.

Food doesn't seem to affect me...not that I notice anyway.

Going gluten free hasn't changed anything for me. i'm almost dairy free now, as well.

I still eat burgers, vegetarian ones though, I do try and eat clean but sometimes I feel like when I’m going super super clean it makes me miserable!!

I will eat some chips and feel great!! I’m sure it’s just some sort of psychological attachment I have for foods that aren’t great for me.

Everyone is different but I still eat a few naughty foods here and there

I do. Lately I've skipped the bun and just eat the meat. I've been on digestive enzymes for a few years now.

I've heard of this. Is there a test for it?

There's a blood test, though the allergy is typically severe and the testing has the usual caveat of false positives and negatives.
