I woke up with the white of my eye swollen. I'm new to Lyme, and haven't started treatment yet. It should be sometime this week.

There's pain and pressure, and feels like there's something scratching it. I've been having vision issues for almost 2 weeks now in that eye. But after an emergency care center visit, and a er visit, I was highly discouraged in even going back to the er/ emergency center. I'm afraid that this is from the Lyme.

I need a recommendation for someone in my area.

SickKitty - I think you should go get your eye checked out today.

The white of the eye being swollen in particular - may need some attention a.s.a.p.(especially with your recent vision issues.

I would call an eye Doc - instead of going to ER.

Opthamologist is preferable as they can identify pathogens, but they still often result in negative testing.

I'm trying to get in as an emergency patient tomorrow. If not, I'll have to drive an hour+ for walk-in clinics. I was told it looks like keritosis conjunctivitis. Probably a result of my hhv-6 pathogen.

I couldn't get into an opthtomolgest today, so I went to the recommended ER. Tomorrow morning I see myself begging and pleading for an appointment.

This brain fog is killing me.
