I have tried making my own colloidal silver but didn't notice any significant herx or health changes. I know a lot of people swear by it but it didn't work for me. I suspect there is a lot of hype around it.
I have taken nano silver - Argentyn 23 and ACS 200 extra strength. The IVs work very well. But you have to keep them up. Orally it hits the ulcer in my stomach and I wouldn't be without it for that reason. It is pricey though.
Taking it for a systematic infection would probably require a considerable investment in IVs. The tests I did showed a significant reduction in viral infections and lyme but to date they aren't gone. I suspect because I haven't detoxed enouigh.

I have heard palpitations can happen. Best not to use it.
I am pretty sensetive to a lot of things myself thats why I tried the silver. Everyone is different so I can't offer you solutions that will necessarily work for you.
I found I could take some things and not others. Rifing worked up to a point it wasn't a cure for me but I made a big improvement with it, I cant take normal cat's claw but I could take Saventuro Cats Claw, I can take some herbs as extract powders but not take the whole herb.
All the best

I found that Robert Moresend was correct calling this a suppressant. It doesnt seem to cure but it alleviates, which can be a big plus in the way you feel. When you stop taking it symptoms eventually return. I have experienced this and seen it in others. I have used it in irritated eyes and ears. Avoid any labelled ionic when using in eyes.

For virus I prefer L-Lysine used with olive leaf extract.

made my own 9v colloidal silver for 10 years.

I would drink up to a quart a day for 30+ days for flare ups.
And ozonate it and sometimes add mms for a triple cocktail.

Had a long period of health after this protocol and I have heard silver penetrates cell wall and could possible cross the blood brain barrier.

Be well
headaches>stroke>bells palsey>trigeminal neuralgia. abx, more ticks. Seizures, fog, bedridden. Stage 4 Lyme w 10 coinfections. 30 days iv rochephin. Buhner+, parasite cleanse, mms, colloidal silver, cacao, mg, b-12, enzymes, Vit c, ozone h2o, fire cider. No sugar, wheat, grain, dairy. Probiotics, kambo, magnets, dry brush, sauna, cold showers, walking, advaita meditation, egosque method. Emf free
