This feels very trivial now that I am typing it out. But, I want to know if this is something to be concerned about.

I ordered Nutrimedix Burbur & Parsley tinctures through Amazon. This is my first time getting a straight burbur supplement. The Parsley looks fine. But, the burbur tincture has flakes that come right out of the dropper. The expiration date is 7/20. Maybe this is normal for burbur?

Being it came from Amazon, you really can't trust it. If in doubt I would return it.

WBF - why wouldn't you trust it from Amazon?

They just get their products from the source.

Hoagie - I'm going to go check my Burbur and see. BRB

okay - there is 'something' in the burbur. mine is a light caramel color with little bits of something...not sure they're flakes...because I can't tell if they're dry pieces

But they are very small.

A lot of the preferred brands only sell to licensed medical professionals. I went to Nutramedix's website and see they do sell directly to consumers. Still when you buy on Amazon you usually are buying from third party vendors not directly from the manufacturer. On Amazon it lists the supplier as Johnson Distributors. I didn't see that name on the product label, so it could be a third party.

I know Thorne will only sell to licensed medical professionals, but I once ordered their NAC off Amazon because my doctor was out of it. There was something different about it, but I used it anyway out of desperation. There are unscrupulous people out there who will sell altered, expired, or bogus stuff packaged in bottles from legitimate products.

I would call Nutramedix and ask them about it before using it.

Thanks Girlie! Guess it's the way it's supposed to be.

My wife was telling me that there are a lot of knockoff brands that disguise themselves as big brand vendors to make sales on Amazon. However, just be sure the seller is the actual company, and you're good... so I'm told. Nutrimedix is the actual seller, so I don't doubt it is legit. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get a bad batch or something. Maybe it's the flaky stuff that makes yhe burbur authentic. Kinda like the little gold shavings in Goldschl├Ąger. Lol

Hoagie - I think WBF is saying they have bogus products and repackage to look like the real manufacturer.
