Hello,
My shoulder pain has now spread to my hands. Before this week, my sx have been mainly neuro. I am mainly housebound because of it. But i need to help out w house work, and shoveling snow, and my creative outlets to keep my sanity.(drawing,guitar). What would you all do in my case? Should i work it out (i still try to lift light weights, walk around and push ups everyday) stretch, or take an otc med? I did abx but they wrecked my insides. Thank you!
Tried abx and iv abx for 2 yrs, now trying herbs; Chronic Tonic (bottled) CSA formula, JK, Houttunia, Andrographis, Cats Claw, Oil of Oregano
Sx Aug '13-
Extreme fatigue, dizziness, head pressure, 1 seizure, ringing ears, crawling sensations everywhere, throat pain, groin pain, very cold hands/feet, joint pain, sole pain, body/muscle spasms, teeth/gum pain, constipation, depression, panic attacks

I'm sorry you're feeling new pain. My symptoms are mostly neuro too, but sometimes pain shows up. I just keep treating and detoxing (favorite is epsom salt baths) and maybe a little extra rest for a day or two if I've overdone it. Have you seen any improvement on the herbs?

Very common.

Yes, that was my pattern too starts in neck/shoulders and went to hands. As my neck muscles got worse, it pinched arm/hand nerves. Lyme seems yo slow circulation.

For me that was late 80's early 90's.

Untill lyme is gone, You need major muscle massage (sometimes called longitudinal muscle stripping). Have someone "wring out" your forarms - yes, grab and twist. Then apply epsome salt gel, arnica, or DMSO. Do this daily.

I gave up guitar, fingers are still too slow from 25-30 years of lyme.. Hopefully you will have better luck.
Had initial lyme symptoms late 80's, then again and with bullseye early 90's. Ended ABX for Lyme in 2015. Rebuilding / fine tuning / fixing muscles since then; member "10 Percenters Lyme Club". What an adventure this has been. Hashimotos adds to the enjoyment.

Thank you Dahlias and Astroman. I cant really tell if the herbs are doing anything, but I keep drinking them because i hear its supposed to work, and i wont do abx again. Hands are sore but they loosened up as the day goes on.
I might have overdone drawing on the ipad: you have to hold the stylus in a weird way so your palm wont touch the ipad and it wont work.
I worked on this drawing all day yesterday:

I have to draw or i'm in trouble, ill just be staring at the walls

Very cool! My daughter draws too using a tablet and laptop. Every single minute possible. But it is good therapy for her.
