Hi Girls!

Do you guys experience an increase in dizziness or balance problems before/during your period?

Does anyone experience flares or increased symptoms of any kind that seem to coincide with their cycle? Maybe it's due to my hormones all being wacked from lyme?!

For me, about 5-7 days prior to the start of my period, all symptoms get steadily worse. Then about 1-2 days after the start, symptoms start to level back to baseline.

The worst symptoms for me during that pre/early period time span are headaches, dizziness, feeling weepy, and overall fatigue. The cramps are also way way worse now that I have Lyme and coinfections....they used to be just inconvenient, now they can be debilitating.
DX Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella and Ehrlichia June 2017.
Symptoms since at least 2007.
Started treatment June 2017
-Artemisinin, A BART, A BAB, Biaxin, Chlorella, Liposomal Glutathione, Magnesium, Omnicef, Prothrivers Wellbrain, Tindazole, Tranquility, Uplift, Fish Oil, B Vitamins, Vitamin D, gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, lemon water, detox tea, coffee enemas.

I get worse about a week before my period, and then usually a day or two into my period, I start feeling better. not necessarily dizziness and balance, but my tachycardia issues seem worse during that preperiod time.

Thank you guys! Definitely makes me feel more "normal" whatever that is...

Have you guys ever done hormone testing? I did saliva testing through ZRT Labs and all my hormones are so far below the range it's crazy! Testosterone, progesterone, estrogen, dhea and cortisol (super high in the morning then drops off to nothing).

Yes, prior to my diagnosis, my levels were at zero (thx lyme). I got them fixed first and my husband and I thought that would be it but I continued to decline. Good luck!

After two and half years of intensive treatment, I’m pretty much healed except for a small Babesia problem. It’s small because it’s not affecting my life too dramatically. I just can’t seem to shake it for good. Apparently, I was missing a key herb. It’s also possible I might just be one of those that has to take something to keep it in remission. So, overall, can’t complain much, I’m pretty happy with my life right now. Trying to give back by educating and supporting others in my community. Never give up!!!!!

Thank you cr3ativegirl!!! I am so glad to hear that. Hoping that herb helps kick the babs for good! Did you develop POTS by chance? I was just diagnosed with POTS a few weeks ago. I'm fairly new to this whole lyme world - just started treatment at the end of January 2018. My LLMD put me on florinef and it does seem to be helping with POTS... But my legs always feel so heavy!
