Hi, I am looking for a good LLMD recommendation for my daughter. We are located in North Attleboro, MA which is about an hour from Boston and 30 min from Providence, RI. Thanks!

Also, does anyone know the approximate cost of an initial LLMD diagnostic type appointment? We have a high deductable plan so have to pay the rate negotiated between the dr. and healthcare company. Thanks again!

** I edited to add to the title (pediatric patients) **

I am going to message you. My LLMD is in Western Massachusetts, and I travel ~3 hours from New Jersey to see him because I think he's worth it.

oops, it looks like neither of us list an e-mail address on our profiles. If you email me at ....... I can respond with the name of my MA-based LLMD.

There are many LLMD"s who do take pediatric patients...but there are some who don't.

I have one listed for Ma - short drive from Boston.

And, it's a Lyme and Pandas Treatment Centre.

Neuropsychologist, acupuncturists, health coaches,...all working together

(Short drive from Boston, LLMDs on staff as well as other practitioners including neuropsychologists, acupuncturists, acupressurists, health coaches, breath works clinicians, yoga instructors,MD's and ND's etc., all working together.

So I called 2 places this morning. Neither of them take insurance. I'm afraid I am realizing this is typical, Is that correct? Is it worth calling around to see if there is a place that does take my insurance? Also, $600 for an initial hour long consult sound par for the course?

I just sent you a name of an LLMD real close to you just across RI border.

Initial visit is like between $500 and $600. First appointment may last 2 hours or so. She does not take insurance, but has a Quest Labs office that makes blood work real convenient and is covered. You can send in her receipt to your Health Plan carrier for points towards your out of network deductible. Follow-on visits with run $250 for a while then reduce to $195 or so for a routine 20 to 30 minute visit.

godspeed

The clinic I go to charges more than that, but the initial consult is 2-3 hours long and then the price drops - the shorter follow ups are less than $600.

Unfortunately most don’t take insurance
