Dear Friends
I really need help. Please please if anyone can help I needed advice. Been fighting lyne Bartonella and babes is since 2012. Was diagnosed ina year later. I am doing better and fight each day. However, the pressure and ringing in my ears are driving me crazy. I really do t know what to do. I see a kind LLMD in NJ and she’s helped. We are using a variety of drops etc
I also do acupuncture infrared sauna chiropractor care yoga swim cupping and counseling. I’ve gotten this far but I can’t find anything for the ringing. It’s so loud and bad pressure. Could it be the bacteria fighting? Idk. But please if anyone has suggestions please share

Thank you ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

The ringing in the ears indicates that there's some inflammation going on which is most likely a result of critters being located inside your head.
Ever get a headache? Any sleep issues at all?

Did you treat Babesia thoroughly?

I think the pressure in my head- behind my eyes was babesia.

And I didn't have ringing in my ears...but I had the pulsatile tinnitus...and it's about 95% gone...

What is the basis for the above comment?

I searched on this through the forum archives a while back for a friend who had tinnitus as her last lyme symptom. If I remember correctly some people found red root helpful and there was mention of Lipo-Flavonoid Plus which seems to be combination of B vitamins and some others for tinnitus (I saw a product similar to this at the pharmacy recently).

I've been dealing with it on and off recently - I thought it was a Bartonella symptom but I see above that it may be Babesia (I may have all my B's mixed up or so I'm finding as they're all having a lovely party over at my place right now and I can't always sort them out).

Good luck finding a solution for this symptom, it's maddening I know!

Thanks, sandyfeet, your comment caused me to remember the following resource:

I hope folks find something helpful.

Thanks Dude - I really enjoyed reading that.

I go to a chiropractor who only does the upper cervical manipulations. He works on the Atlas (or C1)

Upper cervical adjustments stopped my mom's almost daily headaches, and I have been seeing one for 20 years.

I can certainly see how it could help with Meniere's syndrome.

I had ear pressure, tinnitus, and even odd sounds like water trapped in the ear when taking atovaquone and azithromycin for babesia.

So you didn't have ear symptoms until you took the Mepron?

When you finished taking it, did those symptoms completely subside?

My own subjective experience.
Your experience may vary but yeah usually a permanent tinnitus = brain inflammation.
Of course a tinnitus can also indicate a problem with the blood flow in your head. In that case I'd suggest some gingko.

The constant ear ringing you're hearing is actually your immune system at work.
It's floating around the brain but it can't actually get into the brain itself to eradicate the critters.
That's what it feels like in my case.

I have this too, both ringing in the ears and pulsing. I get the pulsing in both ears, but seems more prominent in my left. most noticeable when trying to sleep when laying on one side or another on the pillow.

I too wish i could find some relief. i was treating babesia for 2 months, but we stopped and shifted to bartonella due to bartonella being suspect for some larger issues. i am just starting bartonella now, so hoping that this helps this symptom soon.

very hard getting any sleep with the pulsing...the only way i can fall asleep is flat on my back, as i dont notice the pulsing so much this way.

Just listen to your body and try to decipher what it's trying to tell you.
I know it's not always easy.

Ear ringing can be a result of nerve issues - from active infection.

Maybe you need to treat babesia longer. My pulsatile tinnitus is very close to gone...I don't notice it anymore - except (weirdly) when I wake up sometimes early morning hours, with a tad of anxiety and sweating - the pulsing comes back.
I believe the babesia treatment I did for approx. 7 months is what helped.

Thanks. i wish there was an authoritative source of symptoms for each of these. From research, it seems this can be a symptom of lyme, babesia, bartonella, etc, or caused by antibiotic usage, or inadequate detox, etc. many things.

i had to switch to bartonella unfortunately, that one the symptoms are more pronounced or critical to be addressed for me now. babesia will have to be revisited later.

It sure is annoying tho, glad to hear yours is nearly gone!

There is a lot of symptom overlap - which makes sense...as many of my symptoms are nerve related - CNS - and I believe that all three B's can cause inflammation in the CNS - not just lyme.

yeah that is the tough part with all of this, the symptom overlap...near impossible to map a symptom to an infection.

It is inflammation.
Try cleaning and restoring the function of eustachian tubes. using something like xlear sinus care rinse along with tiny amount iodine or silver mixed. This solves pressure.
Try anti-inflammatory things - Turmeric, R-ALA is the best
Did you ever have really low Vit D since 2012? Then your Vit D is dysfunctioned already. You have to fix it.
