I have been with a LLND for over a year and have been on an herbal protocol, recently started houttunyia and have had massive anxiety, obsessive thoughts, insomnia

I saw a psychiatrist and as the lunesta wasn't working and I have anxiety and some depression symptoms, he prescribed abilify and prozac

I see on the insert to let your doctor know of any prescription or herbal supplements you are on. I mentioned to the psych doctor about being on herbal treatment with the naturopath, but he didn't ask anything and I didn't think to as him. I assume he would just say to stop the herbal treatment.

The problem is I am having big time bart symptoms, muscle twitching, insomnia, panic etc. I called the pharmacy and they tried looking up a few supplements but they don't have any data on herbals. I take stuff like coptis, sida, myrrh, chinese skullcap, houttunyia

I can call my LLND tomorrow but I wanted to take the Abilify tonight. I know prozac has been around for a while. What do I do? I was thinking about skipping my LLND meds tonight to take the Abilify

How do I even approach this?

Thank you guys so much

I would hold off on the Abilify and Prozac until all other options have been exhausted. Did the herbals flare up the bart symptoms, if so can you lower the dosage? There are a lot of supplements for sleep: melatonin, glycine, lemon balm, valerian root, GABA, theanine, hops, tryptophan, and lithium orotate; there are also herbs. I sleep about 5 hours a night when treating bart, the drugs that really knock me out leave me feeling groggy the next day.
