I've heard about people who have had amazing results with cold laser and say they have cured their lyme. I was persuaded to make an appointment to try it, but it all sounds a little strange, and I'm kind of skeptical that it can actually get the Lyme out of your whole body. Also, except for a pain in my knee (which might be caused by my worn- out sneakers) I have no joint pain at the moment. I have a lot of muscle aches though.

I'm thinking to just try it on a scar I have from a weird rash on my wrist.

I'm just wondering if anyone without a lot of joint pain had success with it, or if it has improved anyone's symptoms in general. Also does it have any side effects?

I was told about a doctor in KY who has had a lot of success treating with cold therapy by a member here. They have an appointment to go. But there is at least a 6 month wait to see him. I'm anxious to hear their results with this doctor.

I finally went to my cold laser therapy appointment. I personally think think that all the muscle testing is a bunch of hooey, but I'm a very suspicious person. I haven't had any effects from it, except that I seem to be really absent-minded, and I tried to turn on my computer when it was already on.

I'm a little concerned about having it done on my brain. I'm curious if any more people have had success with it (I was reading some old threads about it).

I don't live in KY, so I haven't heard of any doctors from there.

I just wanted to give an update: I finished cold laser therapy last week.

Cognitive-better

Joints- better

Fatigue-worse.

Heart symptoms-better

I did not have a lot of joint pain, but the few pains I did have seem to have gone away, except for my knee-I think I pulled a muscle in it now.

My fatigue is worse. Possibly it could be because my immune system was helped, but I don't know. Overall I feel about the same, but it you have joint pain or a lot of cognitive symptoms it might really help.

how much was this to have done? I see it's been a week since you posted this update, any improvements since?

I think it was about $900 altogether for about 8 laser sessions.

I had a few really tired days, but then I had a few really good days, so I don't know. i'm not sure if my good days were due to overall improvement, or because I had a change to reduce some of the EMFs I was being exposed to.

Now I definitely have been feeling better (less tired), but I've been getting a lot of mood swings lately. I'm not sure if it's a good sign or not.
