It was sunny for once yesterday, and I felt well enough to walk around my neighborhood with my wife. (I am practically reclusive, hard to walk lately) Lots of people out raking leaves, and dragging them into their backyard woods. Found out half the houses got flooded basements from the last storm. Lots of hoses stretched out of cellar windows trickling water into the street. I met a woman raking, we talked a little, she was visiting a friend who has ALS. My nextdoor neighbor got bit by 3 ticks just collecting a few pieces of chopped firewood next to his house. Another neighbor's wife has MS. A different neighbor's son also has MS, their daughter has fibromyalgia. I tell them all its Lyme..I feel like the neighborhood Lyme crazy person.
Tried abx and iv abx for 2 yrs, now trying herbs; Chronic Tonic (bottled) CSA formula, JK, Houttunia, Andrographis, Cats Claw, Oil of Oregano

me too.......I feel like I'm screaming "fire" and no one hears me

I have tried to approach warning people in different ways ...I understand that every illness or symptom may not be Lyme, but when an individual has been exposed or bitten ...please listen and take precautions

Me too! I'm always torn between offering this information or not - people rarely listen to me when I do anyway - sigh. All of my lyme friends describe going through a stage of seeing lyme everywhere they look. I don't know if I'll ever understand why people would rather live with a diagnosis that is just a description of a cluster of symptoms rather than explore the possibility that it's an infection that might be curable (I sure hope it is!). No matter how crazy that makes me I'd rather live with hope than the certainty of decline.

Glad you got out for a walk at least Serfr.

Print up some business cards with links people can check out, it helps them realize you are serious and that there is good evidence for what you say. I can remember being on the outside looking in, when I was a Lupus patient who was considering Lyme, the advocates looked like crackpot hysterics, you just can't understand that level of fear when you are in a place of denial. Good starting points: https://www.lymedisease.org/, https://canlyme.com (or another regional group, there are many all over the world), and http://www.tickencounter.org/.

Acarined,

That is a genius idea!!!

Serfr,
Your neighbors and you should be concerned about the mold. Mold will cause the same symptoms as Lyme/CFS/Fibromyalgia, etc.
