My anxiety is so bad right now. So nervous I have ALSor MS but could it be lymes?
Symptoms are off and on and come and go and sometimes last for weeks but I do not notice any all of the time: this has been going on for over a year:
Pins and needles in feet hands arms R side of face and R side seems worse
Twitching random places and sometimes multiple times in one spot
Toes will be super cold
Stomach looked sun burnt for a couple days
Chronic hives bad for 4 months off and on. 3 huge hives on my inner thighs turned into bullseyes dermatologist told me to get tested for lymes. Primary doctor ran Elsa test. It came back negative. Then she refused to run western blot and told me If it happens again to get an autopsy
Mid afternoon almost everyday I get fatigued and feel like I’m getting sick and then it passes
Floaters worse at times
Everything seems to get worse around my period
Sometimes hot flashes
Wake up many mornings sore. Back sore
This year I’ve had shingles and influenza A
Abdominal pain or pressure
Feedback please. Thank you for listening
I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure you don't want an "autopsy."
(I know that was a typo, but I was hoping to give you a small laugh and set you at ease a bit.)
Those are some gnarly-looking rashes. To me, they sure look like bullseye rashes. But, again, I'm not a healthcare specialist.
Absent the Erythema Migrans (or, bullseye) rash, Lyme Disease is a clinical diagnosis, based on history, presentation, symptoms, and other factors.
If one has the bullseye rash, then my understanding is that symptom alone is sufficient to receive a diagnosis of Lyme Disease, as no other condition is known to case the bullseye rash.jemsekspecialty.com/erythema-migrans
You should find a Lyme-Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD), Lyme-Literate Naturopathic Doctor (LLND), Lyme-Literate Physician Assistant (LLPA), or other such Lyme-Literate specialist.
Generally, folks will make a new, separate post with a title like: "Looking for LLMD Near ______" and list your city and state or whatever geographical information. Such as: "Looking for LLMD Near Dallas, TX."
Best of luck,
