Hey, I read an article that stated that activated charcoal absorbs nutrients from the gut as well as toxins leading to a decrease in these nutrients. Here's just one article
https ://rawjuiceguru.com/raw-truth-activated-charcoal/:

Im using activated charcoal for detox from herxs and is pretty much my go to. I don't like using bentonite clay. I've heard it can harm beneficial bacteria in the stomach.

Yes, the charcoal will remove what's in your GI tract and flush it out.

You need to take it a couple hours away from food, supplements, meds...etc.

Are there any other safer detox supplements girlie? I really think it's unsafe it is lowering essential vitamin levels when many of us already have malabsorbtion so we have trouble replacing what is going to be flushed out. Thanks

Yes there are other detox that don’t involve binders

Add fresh lemon juice into water and drink

Take warm Epsom salt baths

Dry brush your skin before showering and bathing

Take nutramedix Pinella and burbur

Light exercise

That’s a few examples you could try.
We should be doing several different detoxes every day

Other binders work, too. Chlorella, modified citrus pectin, zeolite. If you take them away from food i don't think you have to worry about them absorbing all of your nutrients. I've never heard of that being an issue for anyone
