I suggest you stop abx for a couple days and let the herx subside.
Focus on taking care of yourself - rest, warm Epsom baths,

Sorry you’re experiencing this OriolCarol!

Do you have someone you can call to come check on you?

If it gets any worse - and you feel like you’re in danger go to the hospital

I will stop abx, it's soo severe.... could it be a herx from minocycline?

I've been at hospital but doctors say that it's anxiety... the don't know anything.... I'm so scared

Yes - you could be herxing from the minocycline.

Are you detoxing?
Have you taken a binder ?

I have the vibrating too - I know how awful it is..so sorry that you’re suffering!

Just keep telling yourself it will pass.

Yes, girlie. I'm at hospital now.... it's soo severe.... never had something like that....

I need to drink water because i'm dehidratated... doctors don't want to give me water because it's the protocol, but my father give me a bottle of water...

They think that i'm crazy because i'm crying and felling weird sensations over my body but all is subjective... and doctors don't trust me...

I think it's a neurolyme herx but i can't tolerate it... sad

Whhaattt? They won’t give you water? That sounds odd.

Is it calming down a bit?

Will your father stay with you when you get home - until you feel safe ?

Or maybe you live with your parents?

I hope they don’t give you steroids

Here they do not let you drink water until the doctors visit you. They say it's the protocol, in case they have to do some tests ... but I came here by those symptoms and they don't take me serious ...

Yes, girlie... my father is here with me i live with my father, I'm 23 years old... it's horrible i feel it like if i was in a prision...

I don't want to take steroids, it will hurt me sad

I comment with one doctor that i have lyme and probably bart and he said that i'm crazy because it doesn't exist in Spain

Sorry you are suffering this Oriol.... It could be a herx from minocycline, I honestly thought I was dying too and took myself to hospital four times in a month only to be told the same as you.

Just remember it will get better, it does exist here in Spain and you are not crazy!!
doctors here really should be ashamed of themselves.

I am sorry Oriol you are going through this. I think you are from BCN as me, aren’t you. If you allow permissions in your profile to visualize your email we can talk offline. Take care, you will get over this!

So sorry to hear this! Try taking some activated charcoal or another binder to see if it helps settle it out a little...and definitely hydrate well

The doctor that told you there is no lyme disease in Spain is a moron. Send him this link

/doi.org/10.1186/s13071-017-2574-x

it's a very recenty study, published December 2017 ...

doctors should read more, and consult less patients per minute ...

i think some people do not really deserve to be doctors. the demand for health care practitioners was and still is very high so all sorts of people, some with very low IQ and some that are simply just interested in making money and nothing else, have ended up doctors... so spain is in schengen area but ticks are not able to cross because border guards will stop them when they cross from france huh ?

what about when u go hunting in germany 3 years in the past, u develop some odd case of "flu" , get past it then fast forward 3 years u are in spain and very sick and u don't know what happened ?!

doctors are talking about lyme as if they are talking about crocodiles. u cannot be bitten by crocodiles in spain because they do not exist... and if u were bitten in say africa, then u probably would remember it ...

it's all pathetic. we deserve this punishment with chronic lyme, we live in a society driven by morons. doctors want to just cash in $$ and have easy cases. but u know what, there is a catch for this, AI will soon replace many of these doctors. if your job is too easy, if all you do at work is give ibuprofen for people that come in with a flu.... you will soon be replaced by a machine ... remember this and try to excel at what you do if u are young and want to still have a job 20 years from now...

It is pathetic, we look to the medical community to help us when we need it most and instead we have fight for our health when its the last thing we need or feel like doing.
