I've been treating bartonella now for 6 weeks & for a while I didn't think I was making any progress. I don't really feel any better but I began looking through my old symptoms list I had & I began to realize maybe I am getting better?

I use to get these headaches every day that would only last like 5 minutes then go away. & head pressure.

Lots of muscle twitching, & migrating muscle pains which both has seemed to maybe get better. I'm having a hard time documenting everything considering I have had so many symptoms.

It also seems like I'm not as hard to wake up. I use to be the hardest ever to get woken up but it seems like that's getting a little better.

The last 3 days I've been dealing with some sort of numbness. I made a post about this recently & everyone seems to think it's a herx. It's not really numbness it just seems like I can't feel as much. I'm not completely numb.

I'm really not sure how much better I'm suppose to be feeling. I was diagnosed with Lyme, babesia, & Bart.

Am I making progress? Are these symptoms that seem to be getting better Bart symptoms? As far as fatigue & brain fog, that's still very much there. Like I said I still feel miserable but it seems like some of my symptoms are going away possibly.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

I have gone from about 38 symptoms to less than 10 and I still don’t feel good most the time.

My worst one is still lingering..so I understand what you’re saying.

Even documenting it - I find it difficult to look for trends.

Sounds like you are making progress - remember it’s still early in the game for you.

Glad your making progress!

Keeping a journal is important, but yes it can be difficult to remember everything.

Documenting symptoms and any changes in treatment is a good idea though since you can look back and see if something worked better or caused more issues.

I am only a week and a half into bartonella treatment. It's too soon to say anything. I feel worse if anything. I tried to go to the mall with my girlfriend yesterday but was completely overwhelmed. I got dizzy and fatigued and felt nauseous which then turned into anxiety. It's miserable. I feel like I can't enjoy life. Even last summer I felt like I was doing better.. weird that I'm slowly declining after seeing improvement only within the first three months of treatment.

Anyway, Rifampin and Zithromax are my hope right now. I am not sure when we should start seeing improvement with barotnella but I assume after 3 months there should be something noticeable.

Luckily I have foot pain in the morning when I first stand up. This is a talltale sign of bartonella and kind of helps me track my progress. After just a week that is the only symptom I see some improvements in. Brain fog, fatigue, dizzyness, anxiety, mood swings are all still very much there with no improvement.

I say that we continue to post our journey with treatment since we know there is at least a few of us going through the same thing and probably more that just dont post or can see this in the future. Keep us updated on progress and I'll do the same!

We're in this together, lets kill this beast!

right on Nic, we can all compare notes, get through it together. hope you get some relief in the days to come too.

my symptoms are sporadic but present: muscle twitching, fatigue, anxiety, dizzyness, skin itchy. would be grateful to get some relief from it all. my feet dont feel sore or pain, but "puffy" not sure how to exactly describe it

Thank you guys for replying! I hope the best for you.i never have any feet pain which always made me believe I didn't have bartonella.

I'm still waiting to see improvement with the frequient urination! My doctor is like 4+ hours away & I have to basically thirst to death on the trip over there. One bottle of water & I'll have to stop 3 times

. I'm just ready for this mental stuff to go away. That seems to be the worst for me. I feel like I completely different person. But I'll keep you updated for sure! Thank you again! Best of luck to yah!

Nichostetler - I have dealt with that same exact thing when going anywheee with a lot of people. Idk what it is. Seems like the lighting of some stores bother me, then the fatigue & anxiety follow.

After 2 years of not knowing what was wrong with me , it's great too finally be able to relate to people.
