I'm realizing now that my issues with cat's claw was an allergic reaction since I've just found out i have mast cell activation. Is there any other herb that takes a similar role? I'd like to try something

I am allergic to regular Cat's Claw but not Saventaro by Enzymatic Therapy it is a TAO cats claw. The active ingredient is still there but they have taken something out of it. I get it at iHerb.
Other things I have tried before I discovered this one was Wild crafted oregano oil that worked too but I started to get sensitive to it. Lauricidin and Monolauren (same thing different names) works well, if you can tolerate coconut you can have this one.

What are the active constituents in cat's claw? Does oregano have the same ones and therefore immunomodulatory effects?

Saventaro POA Cat's Claw
(pnetacylic chemotype) root extract
standardized to 1.3% pentacyclic
oxindole alkaloids (POA) (260 mcg)
and free of tetracylic oxindole
alkaloids (TOA)
A TOA free cats claw is an immune stimulator and regular cats claw is an immune modulator. TAo free is what they use on the Cowden protocul for Lyme, they call it samento. They think it is superior to regular cats claw
I was looking for something that killed the lyme so that is how I answered your question it took me years so it was a big search for me.
If you are taking it for another reason I can't help. I have so many allergies I'm grateful for the ones I can take.
Someone surely will come along with an answer or you can research it yourself.

That's really helpful, thank you.

Just wanted to take it per Buhner's recommendations. I was taking rhodiola & ashwagandha for bartonella but it didn't help anything. Was hoping for an alternative to cat's claw
