Dear forum,

Last year I suddenly got massive round shaped hives on my body, I got crawling sensations UNDER my skin everywhere (nerve damage?), burning under skin, stomach pain from hell, something that seemed like MS/meningitis like symptoms, big cyst like bumps under my skin (and acne/cysts on my skin). tinnitus, collagen thats gone/indentations in skin, visual snow , floaters, massive hair thinning and shedding, Livedo/vitilligo (my skin was perfect before this) and randomly appearing striae on my back and bum and hips, while i am lean and never got or lost any weight.

I have NEVER had anything in my life before this.

Now doctors couldnt find a single thing, they tested me for lyme (LTT, elisa, pcr, every test imaginable), MS, ALS, various tickborne diseases (including babs and bart with PCR and elisa's) and mostly all parasites, I got a CT scan and all, the only thing they found was EBV and CMV titers, liver enzymes that were in the 200's (now theyre slightly elevated @ 60ish). And massive ammonia in my blood (X10 max value). A private doctor found neurotoxins and IL8 markers up and now treats me for expected SIBO.

Here's my question: I think I must've gotten Bartonella (everything suddenly started during summer) and it's not only suppressing my immune system but spread to everywhere in my body, is this correct? What do you guys think? The oval shaped Hives, the random striae that HURT like hell on my hips/bum and the crawling under the skin/hair loss/eye problems all point to Bart, but no doctor will recognize or treat me for it. (I live in Europe).

Any opinions are appreciated!

When there is significant skin involvement I'd seriously consider Bartonella. Do you have any enlarged lymph nodes, pain in feet/bone pain, or psychosomatic symptoms? These are other hallmark bartonella symptoms.

I would highly recommend a LLMD (lyme literate medical doctor) who will have more knowledge on this matter and be able to properly diagnose you. Others on this forum may have a list of LLMDs in Europe.

Where in Europe are you?

Hi Wienie - welcome!

You can seek out a LLMD for testing and an evaluation...

you can also get your regular Dr. to sign a lab req for Armin Labs test. (German lab that specializes in tick-borne disease testing)

And then take the results to a LLMD.

It does sound like you have bartonella symptoms.

I do have some options in Europe. Send me an email, and I'll give you the contact information.
Let me know which country you live in.

Yes sounds like Bart like the others said. Hope you are able to find a good llmd soon. If no one will listen and help you may want to check out herbal protocols that may help.

Please takes care and I wish you the best of healing
