Hi all,

First post here. It’ll be three years in Aug I’ve been dealing with Lymes. I wasn’t diagnosed until the beginning of Jan 18. I dealt with an insane amount of coinfections the past few years. Parasites mostly. I seem to have them finally somewhat under control. But now I feel the lymes pain hitting hard. The chest and arm pain is so unbearable and scary. I’ve gone to the ER a few times for it now. One a few days ago. My EKG and blood work always shows ok. But I’m not satisfied because the pain does not feel muscular. I’ve deal with muscle pain and spasm before and this feels different. Could it be neurological pain from the Lymes? It starts in my chest and to my shoulders and armpit area then down my arms.

Canyone give me some peace of mind here? I’m feeling very depressed and missed work all week. I’m trying acupuncture tomorrow, and some muscle relaxers tonight to see if they help. Also I am hoping to see a specialist soon but with barely working already I’m hard up for cash. Any inspiration helps thanks. Or diet advice too please. Best of luck to everyone dealing with this disease. It is a rollercoaster of pain.

Hi Ellisa114 and welcome to this forum,

I'm fairly new here, too. I'm going to begin with Dr. Jernigan's protocol very soon. I just got the book and have read it for the 1st time.

But for you, I have some recovery with my diet that I think could be beneficial. Since I have changed a few things up, my symptoms are not as severe.

I cut sugar and flour products and actually cut meat also. Now, I'm eating vegetables the most and organic canned beans (usually cannellini or red kidney beans), and sometimes eggs. I'm careful not to eat a whole can of beans at a meal. It doesn't go well for me.

Salads are good for these foods or cooked lightly. I've also learned to use water to cook my food instead of oil. This has been a big improvement for me (if I do ever use oil to cook the eggs occasionally, it's organic unrefined coconut oil and not olive oil or other oil, and on fairly low heat). I mostly crack the egg on top of the vegetables after they are almost done and put a lid on the pan to cook for a few more minutes until the egg is cooked like I want it.

I add coconut oil to my food after it has been cooked, and I also like to cut up 1/2 an avocado to put on top with a thin slice of chopped red onion and either lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. I also like to add Bubbies sauerkraut on top sometimes.

Once in a while I eat salmon or sardines. But most of the time I take Algae Omega 3 as a supplement and B12 and a B complex. I also take Vit D because I don't get much sunlight.

When I want to be soothed, I eat yellow squash. It works for me.

Are you getting treated for the Lyme? The Lyme is probably causing your chest pain, if they can't find anything wrong with your heart. I have had chest pain a few times, and I know it is really scary.

Hi Ellisa

I'm new here as well and have had roving joint pain for the past 6 months. Recently, it's moved to my shoulders and sort of radiated/burned its way down toward my elbows.

The one quick/topical fix I've found ( so I can get a bit of sleep without moaning and groaning) is CBD cream with lidocaine by CBD Clinic. I tried several CBD oils/creams including an ingestible oil, but to no avail. For me, the addition of lidocaine does the trick.
