I've had this inner tension and it just seems like I'm so stressed and inflammated. Anyone who has bartonella suspects these things could be from the infection?

I know what you mean. I usually just feel tense all over. And if I do get stressed for any reason, sometimes I don't feel it (maybe because I'm feeling so stressed already). I'll be saying "I'm fine" and I'll start shaking.

I had that symptom super bad in 2009 when my chronic symptoms first started. I do have bartonella but not sure which infection caused that symptom for me. Hard to say.

Is there a word for it? I get where my body tenses and shakes and I have to clench everything for like five to ten seconds. It's really quick, but over and over. After a few days on abx it comes on. I've had it in the past but it's really bad now

If your body actually shakes, that sounds like tremors. I've had tremors at times, especially when I was very toxic. I also had what I described to a doctor as feeling like I had chills on the inside with no fever. My insides felt trembly, but it wasn't visible outwardly.

I get that inside shaking feeling and I also get full body goose bump feeling without Goosebumps.

Thank you for clarifying the term tremors. That does sound like that may be it.

I get vibrations...and also shivering inside. They are slightly different.

The shivers can be triggered by being cold...but they can also be there when I'm not cold. I do have them less in the summer than the winter.
Also, sometimes when I'm watching something stimulating on t.v., the shivers happen.. they used to start at the top of my spine and go down the spine - and then down my legs.

Lately the shivers are often just in my legs. Is that an improvement? I don't know.

I used to have tremors. That is different - I would see my hands slightly shaking...

This crap is so f'd up.

dealing with everything you guys listed now, as i go through my bart/lyme hell herx...

girlie was watching a beautiful news story about a one armed football player, and when i used to kinda get the goosy-bumpy feeling just on my arms (like an uninfected person), now the vibrating-nervy-inner -shiver-chills goes right down my spine and into my legs...just like you....that feeling right now is currently on my sitbones (lyme brain cant think of correct name)...but inner shivering there and into my back upper lesg is not pleasant

it has got to be some bug killing or new toxins in our heads causing these symptoms im thinking....unless its just damaged nerve endings
