So is it normal to have aching muscles when doing anything physical?

I went fishing a couple days ago which is one of my favorite things to do & my shoulder and back was killing me!!

Then just yesterday I was helping my dad and I picked up something heavy & and my neck began feeling as if i whiplashed it & my back began hurting again.

Just wanna see if others have had this problem

I think so. For the longest time I just thought I was getting old because I had a lot of aching in my muscles. I notice it more in the parts of my body that are strongly affected - for example I really ache in my legs after any unexpected exercise, but less so in my shoulders and upper arms as I don't think it's spread there much.

I sometimes wonder how much is muscle atrophy - my back bothers me more now but I haven't been as consistent about doing strengthening exercises as I was before I was sick.

Yep I have the exact muscle pains ,,worst when I’m herxing.

Been treating for about 4 months and my LLMD prescribed Mass Cell meds that really seem to help in herxing.

I’m going to try fishing next week. I don’t think I could have gone 2months ago.

Yup! I'd been complaining like an 80 year old for a couple of years, walking sideways down the stairs in the mornings, etc., before I realized I was just in my 40s and maybe this wasn't just normal aging lol. Now I count it as a good day if I'm as spry as a 70 year old. ;-)
