What are your best recommendations for energy boosters? I dug holes and planted 3 shrubs yesterday and immediately after had so much fatigue I could hardly move. I definitely overestimated myself and regretted even starting it after hole 1! Stayed on the sofa the rest of the day, slept pretty good but still can hardly move this morning. It's such a beautiful day and I really want enjoy it with my son, rather than in bed. Anyone have any fast acting energy boosters? I haven't had this kind of fatigue in a while...

I'm sorry to say that I think you really need to listen to your body and rest. Sometimes I find that if I rest in the morning after overdoing it, I regain some energy by afternoon. Maybe play some board games with the window open this morning and then aim for an afternoon picnic? (Pick up food out to save energy.)

I'd love to know if anyone has any good suggestions.

I rely mostly on happy energetic music to get me going when I need to do stuff. The kind that makes me want to dance. Light regular exercise works well for me - I have a morning routine that usually gives me the energy to get through the day, but if I overdo it I definitely pay with a day on the couch. Yesterday I was utterly wiped but I managed to force myself out the door for a short walk with my kids and it gave just enough of a boost to get through the evening.

I may have no choice but to rest which is so depressing being this is the most beautiful weekend we have had in a while. I don't even have enough energy right now to make some breakfast. It's also hard to eat healthy when you don't have energy to move-last night we had pizza due to that.

Hopefully I perk up by this afternoon. I did not realize that just planting shrubs would have this type of impact- and my son did half the work! I was clearly over confident in my abilities...once my son wakes up, I will have him make me some oatmeal, and I will take some D3, maybe that will help.

I was doing so well so this is like a slap in the face reminder that I will never be my old self again. I vaguely remember her anyways...

When my stomach feels empty and i'm exhausted, i take a half scoop of Garden of Life Organic Meal in about 2 oz of water like a mini shake. It makes me feel "back to where i was." Its got all kinds of good stuff in it, and tastes pretty good.
Tried abx and iv abx for 2 yrs, now trying herbs; Chronic Tonic (bottled) CSA formula, JK, Houttunia, Andrographis, Cats Claw, Oil of Oregano

Thanks Serfr, I will look into that as I could probably do that if it doesn't taste bad-sounds easy and a much healthier option. I didn't leave the couch all day today, just zero energy. Hoping to wake up tomorrow feeling better. I have to work this week so will have to find some energy somewhere...right now even thinking about showering and getting ready for work seems impossible.
